Ingredients

  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Green onion – 3 stalks
  • Flour – 260 g + for working with dough
  • Butter – 85 g + for greasing the baking sheet
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Sour cream – 70 g
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking powder – 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour with salt and baking powder. Add butter and grind everything into crumbs.
  2. Finely chop the green onion, it immediately smelled of pies. 🙂 I always think so! We combine everything in a cup: onion, cheese, and flour crumbs. We mix.
  3. Beat eggs with a fork and mix with sour cream. Pour into a cup and knead the dough with a spoon. Then we knead well with our hands for about five minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into two parts. Sprinkle flour on the table and stretch each part into a 1 cm thick flat cake. Divide both flat cakes into 5 segments.
  5. Put on a prepared baking sheet (oiled and sprinkled with flour). While the oven is heating up, let them stand on the table.
  6. We bake cheese scones at a temperature of 180-200 degrees, for about 20 minutes. At home, we bake very often, but this cheese deliciousness surprised me and pleased me! So simple and so delicious!
