Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 2 teaspoons, heaped with vanilla sugar
  • 190 g suar
  • 200 g butter
  • 100 g chocolate flakes, dark
  • 3 tablespoon kirsch
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 glass morello cherries, 350 g, drained
  • powdered sugar
  • Fat for the shape
  • Breadcrumbs for the mold

Instructions

  1. Drain the cherries. In the meantime, stir the eggs, butter and sugar until frothy. Then add the kirsch. Mix flour, salt and baking powder and stir in quickly. Finally stir in the chocolate shavings and cherries.
  2. Grease a springform pan or other cake pan to turn it out and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Carefully pour in the dough and bake at 175 ° C (top / bottom heat, not preheated) for approx. 50 minutes.
  3. Remove from the mold or turn out, let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar or decorate differently.
  4. Tastes wonderfully juicy and chocolaty and the next day even better.
