Chicken Legs Marinated with Soy Sauce

Delicious and tender Asian-style chicken legs – with soy sauce. The recipe for onion marinade with spices and soy sauce is perfect for kebabs.

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Chicken drumsticks – 4 pcs.
  • Bulb onions (large) – 2 pcs.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Soy sauce – 50 ml
  • Ground paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Seasoning “Caucasian herbs” – 1 teaspoon
  • Rice (for garnish) – 120 g
  • Green onion (for serving) – 2-3 feathers

Directions

  1. Prepare chicken leg foods marinated with soy sauce.
  2. Rinse the rice for the garnish, pour cold water in a 1: 2 ratio (or a large amount of water, and then put the finished rice in a colander). Cook for 15-20 minutes after boiling.
  3. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
  4. Combine chicken, onion, garlic and spices in a large bowl.
  5. Add soy sauce.
  6. Mix everything well.
  7. Cover the chicken with a smaller plate and put pressure (a jar of water, for example). Put in the refrigerator to marinate for 2-3 hours.
  8. Heat a frying pan well and pour in vegetable oil.
  9. Place the chicken legs in the pan.
  10. Put the onion on top.
  11. Cover and simmer for 5-10 minutes over low heat.
  12. Chop green onions finely.
  13. Add 100 ml of water to the chicken and onions. Simmer for another 15-20 minutes.
  14. For serving, put boiled rice on a plate, stewed onion on it, garnish with green onions on top. Place the stewed chicken drumsticks nearby.
