Ingredients

  • 250 g mararine
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 380 g flour
  • 3 tablespoon rum
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 350 g cherry (s)
  • 50 g chocolate flakes or crumbles
  • 1 pack cake icing, chocolate

Instructions

  1. Mix the fat, sugar and eggs until frothy. Add the vanilla sugar, rum and cocoa and stir well. Sift the flour and mix it with the baking powder and mix it with the dough again. Fold in the cherries and chocolate sprinkles. Fill the whole thing into a Gugelhupf pan and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 60 minutes.
  2. After cooling, pour the chocolate icing over it.
