Chopped Soy Steak

I recommend trying the soy steak recipe. In appearance, soy beefsteak cannot be distinguished from ordinary meat beefsteak, however, in terms of its taste, it did not leave indifferent the whole family, who treated soy meat “so-so”! A great option for those who are fasting, or just want to lighten and diversify the diet.

Ingredients

  • Soy meat (preferably minced meat) – 200 g
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
  • Onions – 100 g
  • Fresh parsley – 0.5 bunch
  • Soda – 2 g
  • Salt
  • Spice
  • Vegetable oil
  • Serving herbs (optional)

Directions

  1. Boil the soy meat in boiling salted water, put it in a colander and squeeze it slightly.
  2.  Saute finely chopped onion in vegetable oil until golden brown.
  3. Add soy meat to the onion, fry for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Finely chop the bell pepper.
  5. Grind soy meat and onions with a blender, add finely chopped bell pepper, a little greens, soda, spices. Mix everything, put it in the refrigerator for an hour. Next, we form soy cutlets (chopped steaks) from the resulting mass, put them in a baking dish, previously greased with vegetable oil.
  6. We bake the soy cutlets in the oven at 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Chopped soy and vegetable steaks can be garnished with herbs when serving.
