Ingredients

  • 150 grams sugar
  • 125 g flour
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 400 ml milk
  • 1 vanilla pod (s), the scraped pulp it (alternatively vanilla flavor)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 200 g yourt
  • 450 g cherry (s), pitted
  • Butter for the mold
  • possibly breadcrumbs for the form

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C.
  2. Butter a pie or casserole dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs if necessary. Put the cherries in the mold. Beat eggs with sugar until frothy and add the vanilla pulp. Add salt, yoghurt and milk and stir in. Finally mix in the flour. A thin dough should result. Pour this over the cherries.
  3. Bake in the hot oven for about 35 to 45 minutes. It is best to do the cooking test with a wooden stick. The dough rises a little, but tends to collapse again when it cools, but that doesn`t detract from the taste.
  4. Can be enjoyed lukewarm or room temperature - also with ice cream.
  5. Tip: You can of course also use other fruits of your choice.
