Coconut Cookies with Prunes and Raisins

Original homemade biscuits, perfect for a cozy tea party. Such pastries can easily be presented as a sweet exclusive gift! You can make such cookies with nuts, marmalade, and thick jam – whoever likes what more!

Ingredients
For the test:
- Wheat flour – 150 g
- Coconut flakes – 125 g
- Honey – 45 g
- Butter – 125 g
- Powdered sugar – 35 g
- For filling:
- Pitted prunes – 45 g
- Raisins – 45 g
- Ground cinnamon – 1/4 teaspoon
Directions
- Combine flour, powdered sugar in a bowl. 2 tablespoon. Set aside the tablespoons of coconut to roll the cookies, and place the rest of the shavings in a bowl. Add softened butter. Grind prepared foods with your hands into a homogeneous crumbling mass.
- Add honey.
- Knead a soft dough.
- To prepare the filling, thoroughly rinse the prunes and raisins in boiling water. Finely chop the prunes, add raisins and cinnamon to it. Stir.
- Divide the dough into equal parts about the size of a small walnut. I got 16 balls of about 30 g each. Flatten the dough, place some filling in the center and gently roll the dough into a ball.
- Roll the ball between your palms to form a regular round shape, roll in coconut, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- You need to put cookies in an oven well preheated to 180 degrees so that the cookies retain their shape. Bake the cookies for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
