  • 1 onion (s)
  • 200 g milk
  • salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • nutmeg
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • 15 g chives
  • 20 g parsley leaves
  • 5 g butter
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Cut or tear the rolls into small pieces and place in a bowl. Peel the onion, dice it and sauté in the butter until translucent. Add the milk and season well with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour the milk mixture over the rolls, stir and let rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees circulating air.
  3. Add the eggs to the bread roll mixture and knead everything well. Cut the herbs into small pieces and mix in, as well as the breadcrumbs. Pour the dumpling dough into a greased loaf pan and bake for 40 - 45 minutes. The cooking time can vary.
  4. After baking, let the dumplings cool for a few minutes, then turn them out and cut into slices of any width. Serve with side dishes of your choice.
  5. The corner dumpling tastes warm and cold and can easily be heated in the microwave.
