Cottage Cheese Buns with Banana and Chocolate Ingredients

For the dough:

  • Cottage cheese – 200 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Flour – 130-160 g (1 glass with a capacity of 200 ml ± 1 tablespoon with a slide)
  • Baking powder – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 pinch

For filling:

  • Banana – 150 g (1 pc.)
  • Dark chocolate – 30 g (1/3 bar weighing 90 g)

For frying:

  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp

To sprinkle on buns:

  • Powdered sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Cocoa powder – 1 teaspoon

Cottage Cheese Buns with Banana and Chocolate Instructions

  1. Mash the curd with a fork.
  2. Add an egg, a pinch of salt and flour, sifted with baking powder.
  3. Knead the dough. You may need a little more or less flour, depending on the moisture content of the curd. It took me 140 grams.
    Roll the dough into a ball, cover with foil and leave for 10 minutes.
  4. Divide the chocolate into 12 equal pieces.
    Cut the banana into 12 circles of equal thickness.

  5. Make a sausage from the dough and cut into 12 equal parts.
  6. Use your hands to form a cake with a diameter of 5-6 cm.
  7. Put a piece of banana in the center of the cake and put a piece of chocolate on it.

  8. Tuck the edges towards the center and pinch.
  9. Form a bun.
  10. Turn the buns over and cover, fry for another 4 minutes, until tender.
  11. Combine powdered sugar and cocoa powder.
    Sprinkle this mixture over ready-made banana-chocolate cottage cheese buns.
