Diet Waffles with Cottage Cheese and Banana

Diet waffles prepared according to this simple recipe are suitable for those who adhere to the basics of good nutrition because they do not contain sugar or wheat flour. At the same time, the waffles are very tasty, plump, and mouth-watering. For breakfast, with honey – delicious!

Ingredients

  • Corn flour – 80 g
  • Oat flour – 80 g
  • Rye flour – 80 g
  • Banana – 1 pc.
  • Cottage cheese – 100 g
  • Sunflower oil – 1 tbsp + for lubrication
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Baking soda – 1 teaspoon.

Directions

  1. Peel the banana, break it into pieces, and transfer to a bowl. Use a fork or potato grinder to puree the banana. Add the lowest fat cottage cheese to this banana puree.
  2. Stir the banana puree with the curd, add the egg and sunflower oil.
  3. Stir the mixture again.
  4. Pour corn, oatmeal, rye flour, and baking soda into the banana curd mixture.
  5. Use a spoon to knead into a homogeneous thick dough.
  6. Heat the waffle iron for thick waffles, if necessary grease the plates with oil (before the first batch of waffles, do not need to be greased in the future). Spoon the dough out with a tablespoon, one tablespoon per waffle.
  7. Cook the waffles until they are browned. In time, be guided by your waffle iron, it takes me about 3 minutes to bake one batch.
  8. A total of 8 wafers are obtained.
  9. Diet waffles are ready to serve. They are especially tasty when warm.
