Banana Nut Waffles

Recipe for making waffles with bananas, nuts, maple syrup, cinnamon and vanilla extract.

Ingredients
- Water – 1/4 Glass
- Apple cider vinegar – 2 Teaspoons
- Banana – 2 Pieces
- Rapeseed oil – 3 tbsp
- Maple syrup – 3 Tbsp. spoons
- Vanilla extract – 1 Teaspoon
- Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
- Soda – 1 Teaspoon
- Salt – 1/2 Teaspoon
- Ground cinnamon – 1/4 Teaspoon
- Walnuts – 1 Glass
- Butter in Waffle Maker Spray – To taste
Directions
- Finely chop the walnuts. Heat the waffle iron.
- Pour soy milk, water, and apple cider vinegar into a measuring cup. Leave aside.
- Mash the bananas very well in a large bowl.
- Add milk mixture, rapeseed oil, maple syrup and vanilla extract and mix.
- Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and ground cinnamon. Using a fork, stir all the ingredients together, but do not stir for too long.
- Add chopped nuts and stir.
- Spray the waffle maker with oil in a cooking spray. Place about 1/3 cup of dough in a waffle iron. Bake until tender.
- Serve with banana chunks and extra maple syrup.
