Sugar Free Banana Waffles

Soft, fragrant, and delicious banana waffles with cocoa, cottage cheese, and oat flour are perfect for dietary and proper nutrition. There is no sugar in the dough for these chocolate banana wafers, the sweetness of the dough is given by a ripe banana.

Cook: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • Large banana – 1 pc.
    or small banana – 2 pcs.
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Cottage cheese – 100 g
  • Oatmeal flour – 5 tablespoon.
  • Cocoa powder – 1 tablespoon.
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Vegetable oil (if necessary) – to lubricate the waffle iron

Directions

  1. Peel the banana, transfer the pulp to a bowl and mash with a fork in the puree.
  2. Add cottage cheese and an egg to the banana puree.
  3. Stir the curd-banana mass by kneading the curd with a fork.
  4. Add cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder here. Stir again.
  5. In the resulting mass, add oat flour in a spoon. It is possible that you will need a little less flour or a little more, which is why you should not add it all at once.
  6. The finished dough should have the consistency of pancake dough.
  7. Heat the waffle iron for thick waffles, oil the plates if necessary. Place the dough on plates, 1.5 tablespoons each. for each waffle.
  8. Cook your chocolate banana waffles as long as your waffle iron needs.
  9. In this way, prepare waffles from all the dough. This makes about 6 medium wafers. Serve the sugar-free banana waffles hot or warm.
