Sugar Free Apple Jelly

Sugar-free apple jelly is a healthy and tasty treat that requires only apples, gelatin, and water. The dessert has a bright apple taste, it turns out to be low-calorie, refreshing, and satisfying. The jelly does not turn out to be “rubbery”, but with its delicate and creamy texture, it resembles a very thick apple jam, prepared without a gram of sugar. Try it!

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Apples – 500 g
  • Gelatin – 15 g
  • Water – 375 ml

Directions

  1. Transfer the gelatin to a small container. Add 50 ml cold water and let it brew while you puree the apples.
  2. Wash the apples, peel, and cut into 4-8 slices. Do not peel the apples; this will give the dessert a richer aroma and flavor.
  3. Place the sliced ​​apples in a saucepan or small saucepan. Add 325 ml of water.
  4. Cover the container with a lid, bring the water to a boil and cook the apples over low heat until soft, about 15 minutes.
  5. Then grind the apples with a hand blender until smooth.
  6. Rub the puree through a sieve to remove small pieces of apple peel.
  7. Place the applesauce in the saucepan again. Bring to a boil and over low heat, stirring occasionally, simmer for 2 minutes.
  8. Turn off heat and add gelatin to applesauce. Mix everything well so that the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  9. Cool the apple mixture slightly, then pour into the bowls and place in the refrigerator to set the jelly (at least 2 hours).
