This is a very simple, healthy, and beautiful dessert-casserole made from cottage cheese and yogurt, without semolina and flour. The curd layer is tender and airy due to the fact that the ingredients are whipped until smooth, and a large number of apples makes the dish juicy and aromatic!
Cook: 20 minutes
Servings: 3
Ingredients
Apples (large) – 2 pcs.
Cottage cheese – 200 g
Natural yogurt – 100 g
Egg – 1 pcs.
Lemon (for juice) – 1/3 pcs.
Powdered sugar (optional) – 1.5 tbsp
Directions
Transfer the cottage cheese to the bowl of a blender or food processor, add natural yogurt and an egg, add powdered sugar if desired.
Whisk the ingredients until smooth. Peel the apples, cut the core. Cut the apples into slices and drizzle with lemon juice. Transfer the curd mass to a baking dish.
Immerse the apple slices in the curd mass, trying to fill the entire area with them as much as possible.
Bake cottage cheese with apples in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 25 minutes.
Transfer the cooked casserole to a dish and cool. During baking, the curd layer will rise significantly, but after cooling, it will settle – this is normal.
Serve the curd casserole as a dessert, sliced into portions.
Enjoy your meal!
