Ingredients

  • 5 egg (s)
  • 5 tablespoon water, hot
  • 125 g powdered suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 150 grams flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon liqueur, creamy, (e.g. Baileys)

Instructions

  1. Separate the eggs and refrigerate the egg whites.
  2. Sieve the icing sugar and beat together with the hot water and egg yolk until frothy.
  3. Sift the flour well and mix with the baking powder. Carefully stir into the egg yolk mixture and add the liqueur.
  4. Beat the egg white with a pinch of salt until stiff and fold in.
  5. The batter can be used to bake about 20 to 25 waffles in an ice cream cone waffle iron.
  6. You can shape the waffles into ice cream cones and serve with a scoop of ice cream. But they also taste so delicious.
