  • 200 g butter
  • 170 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 350 g flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon rum
  • 125 ml water, approx.

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter with the sugar until frothy. Then add the eggs and gradually add the other ingredients and stir in with the hand mixer or food processor. The dough must tear thickly from the spoon.
  2. Preheat the waffle iron and place a little sauce spoonful of batter in the center of the waffle iron. Bake for a few minutes until the waffle is the desired golden yellow color. Place the waffles on a wire rack until ready to serve, so they are nice and crispy.
  3. We prefer to eat ice cream and / or fruit salad with it.
  4. Makes about 15 waffles.
