Ingredients

  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 cube yeast
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt
  • 100 g butter
  • 500g flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • possibly grease for the tray

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk and crumble in the yeast. Add the sugar and let the mixture swell for about 10 minutes. Then add the remaining ingredients and knead everything into a smooth dough. Let it rest for about 20 minutes.
  2. Then divide the dough into thirds and shape into baguettes. Place on a baking sheet or a greased baguette tray and let rise for another 15 minutes. The baguettes are then baked at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes.
  3. Before going for the last time, I cut it at an angle and spray it with water. They rise wonderfully and taste delicious.
