Ingredients
- 500 g white cabbae, washed and cut into strips
- 500 g potato (s), peeled and diced
- 1 onion (s), cut into strips
- 1 ½ tablespoon oil
- 330 ml vegetable stock
- 1 ½ tablespoon mustard
- 50 ml cream or milk
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Chives rolls
- salt and pepper

- Heat the oil in a pan. Add the cabbage and onion strips, sauté while stirring and season with salt and pepper. If you want, you can let the cabbage brown for a light roasted aroma. Add the potatoes to the pan, pour in the broth and simmer covered for about 30 minutes until the liquid has boiled away and the potatoes are soft.
- Stir in the mustard and deglaze with the cream (milk is of course also possible for calorie-conscious people). Let cook for about five minutes, then season with salt, pepper and sugar. If the cabbage does not have the desired consistency or if a little too much liquid is overcooked, just add a shot more cream / milk.
- Finally, arrange the potato pan and serve sprinkled with chives.
- Tips: Be careful, if the broth has boiled over, it can quickly happen that the potatoes burn. That gives a little more stewed or roasted aromas, but if you don`t like it, you should be careful here.
- If you like, you can also fry a few bacon / bacon cubes in the oil before adding the cabbage to the pan. Also tastes good and fits great.
