Ingredients

  • 1 medium white cabbage
  • 600 g minced meat, mixed
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ caraway seeds
  • 1 clove (s) garlic, roughly chopped
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Oil (sunflower oil)

Instructions

  1. Cut up the white cabbage. Remove the hard stalk, also the inner cabbage leaves, which are very thick and hard. Cut cabbage leaves into matchbox-sized pieces.
  2. Fry the minced meat well in hot sunflower oil and cut into small pieces. Season with salt, pepper and garlic. Now take the minced meat out of the pan. Put another dash of oil in the pan and add the cut cabbage to the pan. Cover with a lid for about 5 minutes at first, then continue to fry without the lid over medium heat until the cabbage turns golden yellow. Then add the minced meat. Season with salt, pepper and caraway seeds and continue to fry until it looks relatively brown.
  3. It is best to eat potatoes with it.
