Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 100 g spinach leaves (frozen), thawed
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • 100 g red pepper (s)
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda) in one piece
  • breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion (s), finely diced
  • 1 egg (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly garlic if necessary
  • possibly broth, clear, instant, if necessary

Instructions

  1. Make a mixture from minced meat, egg, breadcrumbs and chopped onion. Season well with salt, pepper and, if necessary, garlic or clear broth.
  2. Clean the peppers and cut into small cubes together with the feta cheese and Gouda cheese. Pick up the thawed spinach leaves a little.
  3. Spread part of the minced meat mixture on cling film so that a rectangle of approx. 40 cm x 12 cm is created. Then top with spinach and feta cheese or Gouda and paprika cubes in the middle. Use the foil to form a roll and press together well. Repeat this process until the meat is all and about 4 rolls have been made. Put these on a baking sheet.
  4. Fry them in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 35 minutes until they are nice and brown.
  5. Let cool and cut into small slices with a sharp knife.
  6. A great alternative to the small meatballs for buffets and parties.
