Instructions

  1. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until frothy. Mix the flour, sugar and baking powder and add to the egg white. Add egg yolks and quark and stir to a smooth batter - add milk if necessary. The dough must not be too runny, it is better to add less milk first.
  2. Brush a non-stick pan with oil and heat over medium heat. Pour in a ladle of batter and let it bake slowly. Turn down the heat if necessary! When the pancake is almost done, turn it over. Brush the pan again and bake the next one.
  3. The whole thing absolutely does not bake without oil, the oil is only a matter of taste. You can fill the pancakes with blueberry jam and banana slices or whatever else you can imagine.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
