Ingredients

  • 1 kg currants, black (but also works with red ones ;-)))
  • 1 liter schnapps
  • 1 vanilla pod (s)
  • 1 piece (s) ginger, (really just a small )
  • 500 g suar (rock candy)

Instructions

  1. Carefully wash the currants and drain them. Pour all ingredients into a wide-necked, well-sealable glass and let stand in the dark for at least 14 days.
  2. Shake well during this time so that the candy sugar can dissolve. After the resting time, filter off and fill into bottles.
  3. Tastes great. cheers
