French Meat with Potatoes

To cook French meat with potatoes according to this recipe, you do not need special culinary skills: chop the meat, potatoes, onions, lay it all in layers, sprinkle with grated cheese, pour mayonnaise (or grease with a mixture of cheese and mayonnaise) and put in the oven until the formation of a golden brown crust.

Ingredients

  • beef (tenderloin or back) 500 r
  • potatoes five PC.
  • onion 1 PC.
  • vegetable oil ten r
  • mayonnaise 250 r
  • cheese 100 r
  • salt taste
  • ground black pepper taste
  • spices (coriander, dried garlic) taste
  • greens for decoration taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees. Cut the onion into half rings.
  2. Cut the potatoes into thin slices.
  3. Cut the meat into pieces.
  4. Salt the meat, add coriander and dried garlic (or other spices to taste), black pepper. Mix.
  5. Grate the cheese. Add mayonnaise. Mix.
  6. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Place half of the chopped potatoes in an even layer in a mold. Sprinkle the potatoes with pepper. Spread half of the meat evenly on the potatoes. For meat and potatoes – a layer of chopped onions. Place half of the cheese and mayonnaise mixture on the onion.
  7. Repeat all layers one more time in the same order. Place the mold in a preheated oven. Bake the meat in French for about an hour. (You can pre-separate 1/3 of the grated cheese, and then sprinkle the dish with cheese 5-7 minutes before the end of cooking.)
  8. Decorate the prepared meat in French with herbs. French-style meat baked in this way with potatoes is not only very tasty, but also looks spectacular on the table.
