Ingredients
- 200 g potato (s)
- Fat for frying
- 1 onion (s), red
- 2 cloves garlic
- 30 g walnuts, rouhly chopped
- Salt and pepper, black from the mill
- some basil leaves

- Peel and dice the potatoes. Do the same with the onion. Heat the fat in the pan and slowly fry the potatoes over a moderate heat.
- When the potatoes are slightly colored, mix in the onion pieces, put the peeled garlic in slices in the pan and continue frying. Finally add the roughly chopped nuts.
- When the potatoes are done, turn off the heat and season the potatoes with salt and pepper. Fold in the basil, cut into fine strips.
- Arrange the fried potatoes on a platter, garnish and serve.
