Heat oil in a wide pan, stir in sugar, brown lightly. Add the onion cubes and the spices, stir everything and let it simmer for 4-5 minutes.
Now place the roasted meatballs or the comb slices close together on a greased, closed all-round baking tray or the drip pan. Season sparingly with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the drained mushrooms on top. Now distribute the onion cubes on the meat. Whisk the cream with the yoghurt and pour over the roasting meat. The tray can stand for several hours, even overnight.
Preheat the tube to 250 degrees, cook the meat at 180 degrees for 90 minutes.
