Ingredients
- 500 g honey
- 175 grams sugar
- 175 g butter
- 125 g almond (s), half round and half chopped
- 500g flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 0.5 tablespoon ½ cocoa
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon mixed with gingerbread spices
- 4 egg (s)
- 3 tablespoon kirsch or fruit schnapps

- Warm the honey and add sugar and butter, stir until a smooth mass is formed. Then place in a bowl and mix in the flour, baking powder, cocoa, eggs, almonds, kirsch and spices. Mix into a smooth batter.
- Spread the dough on a tray (approx. 30 x 20 cm). Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and bake the dough brown for 10-15 minutes.
- Cut into pieces while still warm and sprinkle with powdered sugar and lemon glaze if you like.
