Ingredients

  • 4 sausages, Viennese
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 50 g ham, diced
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet and hot as rose
  • nutmeg
  • Chili powder and jalapeno rings
  • 200 g cheese, rated
  • Parmesan, grated
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

  1. Grease a baking dish a little, preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Cut the sausages lengthways and place them in the baking dish with the cut surface facing up. Can also be layered.
  3. Cut the onions into rings or cubes as desired, drain the mushrooms and fry both together with the ham cubes.
  4. In the meantime, beat the eggs in a bowl, season well and whisk. Add the cheese to the eggs and mix well.
  5. Fold the fried mushroom mixture into the cheese and egg mixture and pour everything over the sausages.
  6. Bake the casserole for about 15-20 minutes until the cheese turns brown.
  7. Gherkins and beetroot go well with it.
