Herring Salad with Cheese Dressing

Salted herring goes well in salads with various vegetables. Today we are preparing an original herring salad with potatoes and bell peppers. Herring is marinated with mustard and vegetable oil, which makes it spicy, soft and tender. Cheese dressing with herbs successfully complements the entire flavor ensemble of the salad.

Ingredients
- Lightly salted herring (fillet) – 1 pc.
- Boiled potatoes – 2 pcs.
- Boiled eggs – 2 pcs.
- Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
- Mustard – 1 tbsp
- Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper – to taste
For refueling:
- Cheese – 30 g
- Green onions – 1-2 pcs.
- Fresh dill – 3-4 branches
- Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper – to taste
Directions
- Prepare the ingredients for the herring salad. Boil potatoes in their skins in advance, boil hard-boiled eggs.
- Spicy herring salad with cheese dressing is ready. Bon Appetit!
- Cut the herring into cubes.
- Add mustard.
- Add vegetable oil, mix the herring with mustard and vegetable oil and leave for 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Peel boiled potatoes and eggs. Peel the bell peppers from seeds.
- Dice the potatoes.
- Slice the eggs.
- Dice the bell pepper.
- Add herring marinated with mustard and butter to the salad.
- Prepare the ingredients for the herring salad dressing.
- Finely chop the onion and dill. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
- Mix greens and cheese, pour in vegetable oil, if necessary – salt and pepper.
- Put the dressing in the salad.
- Stir the salad of eggs, vegetables and herring with the prepared dressing.
- Spicy herring salad with cheese dressing is ready.
