Instructions

I don`t take any aroma from the apple pie, but I stir a pinch of cinnamon into the batter. Smooth out the dough in a cake pan (28 cm) lined with baking paper.
  3. Peel, core and eighth the apples. I use an apple divider for this - this will make the pieces nice and even. Distribute the apple pieces, starting from the outside, in a circle on the dough. With the narrow end towards the middle, the cake can be topped more evenly, I also think that the smaller the cake, the prettier it looks.
  4. When the dough is covered, sprinkle the apples with cinnamon and spiral a little maple syrup over the entire cake. Bake the cake at 180 ° C (top / bottom heat) for about 50 minutes until golden brown (check with a wooden stick) and allow to cool well before serving.
