Ingredients
For the dough:
- 150 g butter, (half fat possible)
- 150 g cane suar
- 3 egg (s)
- 150 g sour cream
- 200 g flour, whole wheat flour
- 100 g almond (s), round
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pinch (s) nutmeg, cloves, cardamom and coriander
For covering:
- 6 apples
- Almond (s) - caramel mass:
- 100 g butter, (half fat possible)
- 100 g cane suar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 Table spoons milk
- 100 g almond (s), rouhly chopped

- Cover or grease a baking sheet with baking paper.
- Peel, quarter and core the apples. Halve the apple quarters crosswise again.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
- Mix the butter with the cane sugar until frothy. Stir in the eggs one by one, then stir in the sour cream. Mix the flour with the almonds, baking powder and spices and stir in briefly. Spread the dough on the prepared tray and place the apple pieces evenly on top. Bake on the middle rack for about 30 minutes.
- In the meantime, melt the butter, add sugar and honey and bring to the boil until foaming. Then stir in the almonds.
- Immediately after baking, spread this mixture on the cake, especially on the apples, and put the cake in the oven for another 5 minutes.
- The cake tastes very good warm, but only gets really juicy with the days!
