Kefir Pie with Cherries and Chocolate

Pie made from airy kefir dough with cherries and dark chocolate is an interesting variation on the theme of your favorite pastry. Put chopped chocolate in a quick dough on kefir, and put cherries on top. After making this cake, you can see that simple baked goods can be delicious! Recommended for lovers of the combination of berries and chocolate!

Cook: 1 hour

Ingredients

  • Flour – 180 g
  • Kefir – 200 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Sweet cherry – 200 g
  • Black chocolate – 50 g
  • Baking powder – 2 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 180 g
  • Starch – 1 teaspoon

Additionally:

  • Butter (for greasing the mold) – 30 g
  • Powdered sugar (for serving) – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Sort the cherries, remove the tails and seeds.
    Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Chop the chocolate finely with a knife.
  3. Break eggs into a deep bowl, add sugar. Beat until fluffy with a mixer, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Add flour (1 glass of 200 ml + 2 tablespoons with a slide), kefir and baking powder to the bowl. Beat until smooth, 1 minute.
  5. Add chocolate to the dough, stir.
  6. Add starch to a bowl with cherries, mix until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  7. Cover a baking dish (I have a diameter of 22 cm) with parchment paper and grease well with butter.
  8. Pour the dough into a mold.
  9. And put the cherries on the dough.
    Bake at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes.
  10. Cool the finished cake and sprinkle with icing sugar.
