Instructions

  1. Fry the minced meat, onions, do not cook the rice too soft. Then season the minced meat and onions with salt and pepper.
  2. Then put some water in the pot, layer sauerkraut, meat mixture, rice on top and do the same again. Simmer for 30-45 minutes with the lid closed. 10 minutes before the end, distribute 250 ml of sour cream over the mixture and let it steep for the rest of the time.
  3. An old recipe from my mother. Sounds a little strange. But it tastes really delicious.
  4. Please ensure that there is liquid so that nothing burns.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
