Add the remaining sugar, remaining milk, flaky butter, salt and egg. Knead a dough. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
Knead in the sultanas and lemon peel, shape into a long, flat-oval bread.
Flip one side over the other and roll inward. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven on the lowest rack for 70 minutes at 175 degrees.
Let cool down.
