Light Cupcakes “Red Velvet”

Baking for Valentine’s Day! Very airy, moderately sweet, and delicious heart-shaped muffins. The most delicate cupcakes with sour cream. Simple, fast, and beautiful! I recommend making Red Velvet muffins by February 14th!

Ingredients

  • Butter – 100 g
  • Sour cream (yogurt) – 180 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Sugar – 150-170 g (to taste)
  • Flour – 220 g
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon.
  • Salt – 1/4 teaspoon.
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Red food dye (I have liquid) – 1 teaspoon.

Directions

  1. Whisk butter at room temperature, sugar, and vanilla sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add one egg to the butter mass, beat until smooth.
  3. Add sour cream, stir until smooth.
  4. Add red food coloring (add until the desired color), stir. Then sift the flour with salt and baking powder. Stir until smooth.
  5. Put the dough into molds (I have silicone hearts), without resorting to the edge of 1 cm.
    Bake muffins in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
