Liver Cake Appetizer

A liver cake is an appetizer that surprises! The flavor of this liver cake can be changed depending on the layer.

Servings: 8


  • Chicken livers – 500 g
  • Eggs – 1 pc.
  • Flour – 5-7 tablespoon.
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon.
  • Milk – 1/4-1/2 cups
  • Onions – 2 pcs.
  • Sour cream – 200 g
  • Mayonnaise – 100 g
  • Hard cheese – 150 g
  • Vegetable oil – 10 tablespoon.
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Fresh herbs (dill, parsley)


  1. Mix the liver and onion with a blender.
  2. Combine the liver with onions, eggs, milk, salt, baking powder, flour, and you will get a mass as thick as for pancakes.
  3. Fry the pancakes from the batter in vegetable oil on both sides. Place one by one on a plate.
  4. Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic, and finely chopped fresh herbs in a bowl.
  5. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
  6. Coat each pancake with a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise and sprinkle it with the cheese.Make all the pancakes in this way,
  7. Sprinkle the last pancake abundantly with the cheese. Decorate the liver cake as you wish.
