Lobio in Tomato

The lobio recipe is known in Georgian, Azerbaijani and Armenian cuisine. Lobio is prepared from both green green beans and beans, mainly red beans. We offer a recipe for lobio in dried beans tomato.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Dry beans – 1 glass
  • Tomato paste – 0.5 cups
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Spices for pilaf – 0.5 teaspoon (to taste)
  • Cilantro (or parsley) – 50 g
  • Garlic – 5 cloves
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon (to taste)

Directions

  1. Bean lobio products with tomato in front of you.
  2. Sort beans, wash, soak in cold water for 2-6 hours.
  3. Pour 1 liter of water into the cauldron. Boil. Then put the beans in boiling water and cook until tender over low heat (about an hour), cool.
  4. Peel the garlic, chop finely.
  5. Rinse greens, chop finely.
  6. Preheat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil. Lay out the tomato paste. Saute the tomato paste in vegetable oil (about 2-3 minutes).
  7. Season lobio with tomato salt, pilaf spices, chopped garlic, cilantro.
  8. Boil lobio in tomato sauce for 2-3 minutes over low heat.
  9. Lobio in tomato is ready!
