Instructions

  1. Remove the stalk from the cauliflower and cook in lightly salted water until the cauliflower is firm to the bite. You can also cut the onions and some pickles into small pieces.
  2. Drain the finished cauliflower properly. Meanwhile, lightly sear the onions, pickles and corned beef in a saucepan and deglaze with a little liquid from the pickle jar.
  3. Puree the cauliflower with a hand blender and then add to the corned beef mixture. Then add a little beetroot juice from the glass and season with salt, pepper and possibly a little pickle liquid. In addition, fry one fried egg per person in a pan.
  4. Fill `Labskaus` on plates, add a few pickles and beetroot and place the fried egg on top.
  5. If you like, you can of course also eat fish.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
