  • 90 g protein powder from whey
  • 500 ml water, cold
  • 250 g low-fat quark
  • 125 g berries, mixed, frozen
  • 3 teaspoon, heaped psyllium husks

Instructions

  1. Mix the whey powder with water in a blender or shaker to make a classic protein shake. Tip: Since there is a comparatively large amount of whey, an easily dissolvable whey variant such as Gold Standard should be used. Otherwise you end up with a thick mush.
  2. Briefly defrost the berries (approx. 30-50 seconds) in a microwave.
  3. Mix all ingredients with a hand blender.
  4. Has a consistency similar to a classic milkshake without being too sweet. A mixture contains almost the recommended daily amount of protein and fiber for strength athletes. The proportion of carbohydrates is very low, which is why it fits well into a keto or low carb diet.
