Ingredients

  • Butter (softened) – 200 g
  • Powdered sugar – 100 g
  • Almonds (or walnuts) – 200 g
  • Wheat flour / Flour – 280 g
  • Baking powder (no slide) – 1 teaspoon.

Directions

  1. Grind almonds or walnuts into dust.
  2. Grind the softened butter with powdered sugar until creamy.
  3. Add chopped almonds (walnuts), flour, and baking powder.
  4. Knead and roll the dough into a ball. It should be soft and not sticky to your hands. If it comes out dry and crumbles, add a tablespoon of vegetable oil. If sticky, add flour.
  5. Roll out centimeter-thick sausages in our hands and spread them on a baking sheet with parchment paper in the shape of a crescent.
  6. Or roll up the balls and flatten them slightly.
  7. We bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes. The cookie grows in size. It should remain light and moist. When cooled, the biscuits harden. Be careful, the main thing is not to dry it out. And very carefully, with a spatula, it must be picked up and removed from the baking sheet. The cookies are very delicate, crumbly!
  8. Walnut cookies are slightly darker in color.
