- 0.75 liter ¾ malt beer
- 1 medium lemon (s), (the juice)
- 0.5 kg ½ preserving sugar, 2: 1
- possibly rum

- Mix the malt beer with the preserving sugar and add the lemon juice. Add a dash of rum (or liqueur) to taste and then cook according to the instructions.
- Since the malt beer foams very strongly when it is boiled, you should use a very large saucepan to prevent it from foaming over.
