Ingredients

  • 400 g marzipan paste
  • 200 g powdered suar
  • 150 g suar, brown
  • 300 g almond (s), peeled, round
  • 50 grams flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 shots amaretto
  • 200 g flaked almonds
  • 100 g powdered suar for sprinklin

Instructions

  1. Put the ground almonds, flour and baking powder in a bowl and mix. Add the marzipan in small pieces. Add powdered sugar, brown sugar, egg white and amaretto and knead everything into a very sticky dough.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C top / bottom heat.
  3. Put the almond flakes in a bowl and water in a second bowl. Shape the dough into oblong biscuits with watery hands, roll them in the almond flakes and place on the baking sheet.
  4. Put the trays in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes, until the flaked almonds are lightly brown and the mandorlini are slightly cracked.
  5. Take the mandorlini out of the oven and dust them with icing sugar while they are still warm.
