This cocktail is made on the basis of yogurt from which the traditional Indian drink “lassi” is prepared. The cocktail goes well with spicy food and also refreshes well at any time of the day.

Ingredients
Powdered sugar (fine sugar) – 175 g
Water – 150 ml
Lemons – 2 pcs.
Greek yogurt (fat) – 500 ml
Mango juice – 400 ml
Directions
Heat the water with sugar in a saucepan over moderate heat, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar. Pour the syrup into a pitcher. Cool and then chill hard. Rub the lemons and squeeze out the juice. Add lemon juice and zest to the chilled syrup and stir well.
Pour the lemon syrup into a suitable container and place it in the freezer. When the liquid thickens, stir in the yogurt and freeze again (so that you can scoop up with an ice cream spoon).
For each serving of lassi, combine 100 ml of mango juice and 3 scoops of frozen yogurt with syrup in a blender. Pour the cocktail into a tall glass and add a few ice cubes. Top with a spoonful of frozen yogurt, garnish with a sprig of mint and a wedge of mango. Serve the drink immediately.
