Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 300 grams flour
  • 200 g butter, soft
  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 0.5 ½ pack vanilla sugar (bourbon)

For the filling:

  • 100 g marzipan raw mixture
  • 0.5 ½ pack flavor (finesse orange fruit)
  • 3 tablespoon chocolate flakes
  • 100 g cake icin, (whole milk)

Instructions

  1. Knead the dough ingredients, cut in half and form two approx. 25 cm long rolls on two cut freezer bags. Press a hollow lengthways into the rolls with the handle of a wooden spoon.
  2. Knead the marzipan, orange fruit and grated chocolate. Shape it into two rolls approx. 25 cm long. Place the marzipan in the hollow and close the dough over the marzipan, using the foil to shape it into a square shape (you can put it in the freezer for 1/2 hour). Cut into approx. 1 cm wide slices and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees on the middle rack for 10-12 minutes. Dissolve the cake icing according to the instructions on the packet. Place the shortbread close together on a piece of baking paper and let cool down a little. Cover it in strips with the cake icing.
