Ingredients

  • 1 kg potato (s), mostly waxy cut into slices
  • 2 medium onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 400 ml milk
  • 250 ml cream
  • 1 small Bunch chopped parsley
  • some nutmeg, if you like
  • 2 teaspoons paprika powder, noble sweet
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the onion and garlic into cubes. Sauté in oil in a pan until translucent. Transfer to a deep baking sheet. Top with the sliced, peeled potatoes. Season the potatoes, mix with the onions and distribute everything evenly. Mix the milk and cream and pour over the potatoes.
  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° (no fan oven) for 25 minutes. Take the tray out of the oven and mash it with the potato masher. Mix in the parsley.
  3. It can also be served very nicely on the tray.
  4. In summer we often eat the mashed potatoes with a fresh salad or as a side dish for grilling.
