Meatballs from Ikea

Ingredients

  • Minced meat – 500 grams (pork with beef)
  • Chicken Egg – 2 Pieces
  • Butter – 4 tbsp
  • Onion – 1 Piece
  • Milk – 70 Milliliters
  • Breadcrumbs – 100 Grams
  • Flour – 3 Art. spoons
  • Beef broth – 600 Milliliters
  • Cream – 150 Milliliters
  • Salt – 1 Teaspoon
  • Pepper – To taste
  • Lingonberry jam – To taste
  • Nutmeg – To taste

Directions

  1. First, let’s prepare the minced meat. Put the meat in a bowl, add milk and eggs there. Finely chop an onion, send to a bowl, also add salt, nutmeg and ground pepper. Put bread crumbs and 2 tablespoons of soft butter there.
  2. Mix the minced meat well, send it to the refrigerator for an hour. Then preheat the oven to 210 degrees, cover the baking sheet with foil and start sculpting small balls of the same size. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for about half an hour.
  3. Now we can do the sauce. To prepare it, mix 2 tablespoons of butter with flour, fry in a pan until brownish. Now you need to add broth and cream, a little salt and pepper. Simmer the sauce until slightly thickened.
  4. Put the finished meatballs on a plate and pour over the creamy sauce. Typically, meatballs are served with mashed potatoes. Another irreplaceable addition to the dish is lingonberry jam.
