Melt the butter and chocolate together in a double boiler. In the meantime, beat the egg with the sugar until frothy. Then stir in the slightly cooled chocolate-butter mixture, mix in the flour and baking powder and stir in as well.
Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving enough space so that the dough comes apart quite a bit.
Bake the biscuits in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 10 to 12 minutes. The biscuits are then still soft, but when they cool down they get really firm, only then put in cans, otherwise they will crumble. Makes about 20 biscuits. They`re crispy, but still just a touch chocolaty moist.
