Meringue with Lollipops

Merengi will be more flavorful when cooked with crushed hard candy. You definitely haven’t tried this yet!

Ingredients

  • Egg white – 2 pcs.
  • Salt – 1/8 teaspoon
  • Citric acid – 1/8 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 0.5 cups
  • Lollipops – 2-3 pcs.

Directions

  1. Crush the lollipops.
  2.  Beat the egg whites until lather.
  3. Add salt and citric acid to the whipped egg whites, continue to beat until soft peaks.
  4. Continuing to beat, gradually add sugar. Beat the whites until stiff peaks (about 7 minutes).
  5. Place a teaspoon of meringue on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with crushed hard candy.
  6. Bake meringue cakes with candies for 1.5 hours at a temperature of 100 degrees.
  7. Turn off the oven. Leave the meringue in the oven with the door ajar for another 1 hour or until it cools completely.
