Mozzarella and Sweet Pepper Appetizer “Cups”

I suggest you a snack that cooks very quickly and looks beautiful on the holiday table! It is served in deep rosettes or in cups, laid out in layers. Fresh and delicate taste will not disappoint even the most fastidious guest!

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • Crackers (or croutons) – 30 g
  • Mozzarella cheese – 100 g
  • Pesto sauce – 1-2 tablespoons
  • Small Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 1 tooth
  • Pistachios – 40 g
  • Olive oil – 2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Chop the bell pepper arbitrarily, but not coarsely. Fry in olive oil with garlic cloves (optional).
  2. Place the peppers and peeled pistachios in a blender.
  3. Grind until smooth.
  4. Place the mozzarella (I have a buffalo, but you can also place an ordinary one) in a blender, add pesto sauce.
  5. Grind until smooth.
  6. Mash crackers or croutons into crumbs, add a spoonful of olive oil and stir.
  7. Now you can start filling the cups. First, distribute the cracker crumbs.
  8. Put mozzarella mousse with pesto on them.
  9. The last layer is pepper and pistachio mousse.
