Ingredients

  • 250 g minced meat, mixed
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 500 ml tomato (s), passed
  • 50 ml cream
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • some herbs, fresh (e.g. parsley, basil, oregano, thyme)
  • Chilli pepper (s), red
  • some oil

Instructions

  1. Core and dice the peppers, halve the mushrooms. Peel and dice the onion and sauté briefly in a pan with a little oil.
  2. Add the minced meat and fry with the onions. When the meat is done, remove it from the pan and set it aside for the time being.
  3. Heat some more oil in the pan and sweat the halved mushrooms in it. After about 3 minutes, add the chopped garlic and diced paprika and cook for another 3 minutes. Stir in the minced meat and onion mixture again and deglaze everything with the tomato and cream. Bring everything to the boil briefly and season with salt, pepper, paprika powder and the herbs.
  4. For fans of spicy food, season everything with some fresh chopped chilli. To do this, cut the chili pepper lengthways and scrape out the core with the knife so that it remains sharp but edible. Serve with rice or pasta.
