Bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the oatmeal and stir well.
Then let it swell for about 5 minutes, but be careful that nothing sticks. Add the cinnamon and stir. Those who like the oatmeal firmer take more flakes, more liquid more milk.
Pour into cups or bowls and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with fruit (e.g. cherries, raspberries ).
